Eight Is Great.
So the little mancub is 8 months old. Yes, I will be one of those mothers who is constantly saying "Where has the time gone?" I do not want to be her, so just pretend like I have already said is this post, okay? Time always gets away from me. With photography, Rex, keeping up with the house and plans to travel within the next few months, blogging is the furthest from the top of my to-do list. We celebrated Skyler's birthday, he is a whole 28! Rex and I treated dad to Joe's BBQ on his birthday and a couple of days later, we had Tere, Darla and kids come over to celebrate with cake and ice cream. Allie and Skyler share a birthday and Ty's birthday is on the 21st so it was like one giant party... With like 8 people there. Woo! Getting pretty cray. Watch out.
Rex has started to pull himself up onto furniture so we got him a little walker with wheels I found on sale at Fry's.. He seriously loves this little thing. I don't know if this will make him walk sooner, but I seriously can't wait. I love this little dude and watching him grow and develop. At the same time, he's getting a little TOO good at standing without support and scooting himself around the ottomans. It scares me. Too much too soon!
We have been going to a lot of the girls' volleyball games every Tuesday and Thursday, Rex has a "Lemieux" shirt that he wears to them all. Once basketball season starts, he will be sporting that shirt again at every game. We love having family so close around these parts. We have also been regulars at the QC SnoShack. So. Much. Sugar.. But way too hard to resist. I am a root beer lover and Skyler pretty much loves anything with cream on top and ice cream on the bottom. We have given Rex some tastes, and man alive, does it wire a kid up! Never again.. Until next Sno season :)
My dad and Nick and Candy came to visit these last few months as well. We love having company and Rex loves having my dad around. We sure just cant get enough of Grandpa. Great-Grandpa too who celebrated his birthday on Oct 7th! Here's to catching up with photos!
